In heavy traffic, a good defensive driving practice is to:
- Weave through lanes to get ahead
- Drive as close to the car in front as possible
- Leave extra space and avoid aggressive lane changes — correct answer
Why
Space is your only margin in dense traffic. Weaving for small gains removes it and gains almost nothing.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
