Signalling for a right turn should start about:
- 100 feet before the turn — correct answer
- 50 feet before the turn
- 400 feet before the turn
Why
About 100 feet, then look over your right shoulder and reduce speed. The 400 feet figure belongs to freeway exits. (Section 6, Right Turns.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
