Traffic convictions and collisions stay on your driver's record for:
- 36 months or longer, depending on the type of conviction — correct answer
- Until you complete traffic violator school
- 12 months in every case
Why
The record keeps convictions and collisions for 36 months or longer depending on the conviction. Convictions from other states and from juvenile court are added too. (Section 7, Points on Your Driver's Record.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
