A flashing red traffic signal light means:
- Stop, then go when it is safe — correct answer
- Stop and wait for the light to turn green
- Slow down and proceed without stopping
Why
A flashing red light works like a STOP sign: you must stop, and you may then continue once it is safe. (Section 7, Traffic Signals.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
