A safety zone is:
- A space set aside for pedestrians waiting for buses, streetcars or trolleys — correct answer
- A shoulder area reserved for emergency stops
- The painted area next to a disabled parking space
Why
Safety zones are marked by raised buttons or markers, or by dotted white lines, and you must never drive through one under any condition. (Section 7, Buses, Streetcars, Trolleys.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
