Topic 3 · Rules of the Road: Traffic Laws in California
When you approach a roundabout you must:
- Enter first and let circulating traffic slow for you
- Slow down and yield to all traffic already in the roundabout — correct answer
- Stop before entering, as at a four-way stop
Why
In a roundabout, traffic already circulating has priority. Slow down on approach and enter to the right when there is a safe gap. (Section 7, Roundabouts.)
Practise this in the real format
