You face a flashing yellow arrow to turn left. You may:
- Turn immediately, because oncoming traffic is stopped
- Not turn until the arrow turns green
- Turn after yielding to oncoming traffic, because the turn is not protected — correct answer
Why
A flashing yellow arrow allows the turn but does not protect it: oncoming traffic is not stopped. Yield first and proceed with caution. (Section 7, Traffic Signals.)
Practise this in the real format
