You are parked facing downhill with a curb. Your front wheels should point:
- Toward the curb — correct answer
- Away from the curb, toward the center of the road
- Straight ahead, with the parking brake on
Why
Downhill, the wheels turn into the curb so the vehicle rolls into it if the brakes fail. Uphill they turn away from the curb and you let the car roll back a few inches until the wheel touches. (Section 6, Parking on a Hill.)
Practise this in the real format
